CARPET

More than ever, RV owners are replacing their dingy, stained, worn carpets. The trend right now is to replace carpets with hard surface flooring and keep carpet where absolutely necessary. However, there are customers who still prefer the look and feel of quality carpet. And, installation of new carpet will be easier on your budget than any hard surface flooring.

Carpet provides comfort, warmth and insulation. Dense carpet and an 8 lb. carpet pad muffles noise better than any other materials. And with a non-slip surface and natural cushioning, carpet provides safety from falling. As well, good quality carpet provides a uniform design element, a wide range of color and texture choices, and with adequate care, affordable longevity.

Performance and maintenance are the two key factors of concern to carpet buyers. Carpet is performance rated using a scale from one to five. Look for a high rating between four and five to give you the least surface appearance change in high traffic areas after one year of use.

At Classic Coach Works we provide fine, higher quality Shaw carpets with a broad range of colors and price points. These carpet collections make up our well-known “Good, Better, Best Programs” with value package pricing.

For those of you interested in high-line, luxurious designer collections, we offer carpets by Fabrica – featuring a host of current colors in textures and designs including pin stripes, waves, florals, diamonds, and tweeds.

Installation of carpet and indeed all flooring materials provides unique challenges in an RV environment. Success requires some design sense, careful preparation, planning, and the ability and patience of our in-house installers to cut and layout the materials in confined, irregular spaces.
